Understated but bold vintage Marimekko shirt dress of a heavy cotton in bold black and white vertical stripes, with button front ( halfway) and cuffs. It is a very full A-line style, with long sleeves and a slightly dropped waist. Unlined.

Vuokko Nurmesniemi was a principal designer for Marimekko and known for bold color and shape combinations, whimsical looks. It has a Marimekko label I've never seen. But doing some research I think it comes from a department store in Finland called Sokos.295 We show it with our own belt.
